Welcome, stargazer.
AstronomyTrek began in 2009 with a simple idea: to share the fascination of astronomy and the wonders of the night sky with as many people as possible.
Since then, the site has grown into a wide-ranging astronomy resource exploring the Solar System, stars, constellations, galaxies and deep-sky objects, as well as practical stargazing, astronomy equipment, the history of astronomy, and some of the bigger mysteries of space and time.
Astronomy has a way of turning a glance at the night sky into a hundred questions. AstronomyTrek aims to help answer them — making the science accessible without losing the curiosity and sense of wonder that made us look up in the first place.
About the Editor
AstronomyTrek is edited by Peter Christoforou, who oversees the site’s research, updating and editorial direction.
The site’s archive stretches back to 2009, while articles across AstronomyTrek continue to be reviewed, updated and expanded as our understanding of the Universe develops.
Clear skies!
