No 2: Famke Janssen
Famke Janssen is known to many X-Men film fans as Phoenix, but she also made an early appearance on a 1992 episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation entitled “The Perfect Mate.” Famke plays a stunningly attractive Kriosian female empath called Kamala, destined from childhood for an arranged marriage intended to end a war between two worlds.
Entrusted by the Enterprise to escort her as special cargo, Kamala is a rare genetic mutant with the ability to sense men’s desires and adapt herself to becoming their perfect mate. Her alluring and playful charms play havoc on the crew with some comical effects. For instance, Commander Riker has to excuse himself from her after she hints at some pre-marital fun saying; “Riker to bridge, if you need me, I’ll be in holodeck four.” In another classic scene Picard, too, turns down her advances and when she says “Do you find me unattractive?” to which Picard replies ” I find you unavailable.”
Despite Picard escorting her down the aisle at the end of the episode to marry a Valtian ambassador in order to cement a peace agreement, she later tells Picard that she had bonded with him, and that the Enterprise captain had made her a better person.
No 1: Jeri Ryan
The final stunner on my Top 5 Hottest Star Trek Babes is another Borg, although this one is a lot more human than the first, in my defense. German born actress Jeri Ryan plays Seven of Nine, a Borg who has her link to the Collective successfully severed, but with with all of their efficiency and bluntness intact. This matter of fact vixen starred in Star Trek: Voyager, dressed in a glittery cat suit and packing at least a 36D. After Captain Janeway encourages Seven to explore her humanity, Kim develops a crush on her and after the apprehensive Ensign attempts to set up a date she easily twigs his plan and the conversation goes:
Kim: “Well, no.”
Seven: “Then you wish to copulate?”
Kim: “No! I mean, I-I don’t know what I mean.”
Seven: “…Nevertheless I’m willing to explore my humanity. Take off your clothes.”
Kim, panicking: “Seven…”
Seven: “Don’t be alarmed. I won’t hurt you.”
Kim grabs his padd and flees.
In the end, however, it the charming and well-respected First Officer Chakotay who makes off with the fair Borg maiden at the end of the series.
